According to UBS analyst Ben Schachter, music games have been a “key driver” this year, with “sales of music-themed games responsible for 19% of overall industry software dollars in July (15% YTD) and 44% of y/y industry dollar growth during the month (32% of growth YTD).”

As I have made it clear, many times, that I am not a big music game fan. (ie Rock Band, GH) With that aside many people are and I beleieve that these numbers will continue to grew, as more music games come out, and the ones that are out get better.
