Nintendo Comments On New DS Rumor
Over the Weekend multiple Japanese websites have reported that Nintendo will announce a new DS within the next few days. If you have missed it you can check it HERE. Nintendo has finally releases a comment about it.
We are always developing new products. However, since nothing has been announced officially, we are unable to comment at this time.
That is about the typical Nintendo response. I guess we will have to wait until the conferences this Thursday to find the answer.

That sounds pretty close to a confirmation to me, especially since they normally say something like: “Nintendo does not comment on rumor or speculation”. Here, they practically come out and say, ‘yeah we’ve got a new DS coming out, big whoop, wanna fight about it?’
