– correct angle and force of a swing are important
Nice but could be a problem if it’s to sensitive
– quick-time event for enemy parry, when the situation comes up
Not a big fan of quicktime events
– once you fire a shot, enemies will charge you
– block bullets with your sword
Seems like they’re really putting a big focus on the sword combat
– if you start the game without the MotionPlus accessory, the screen will stay black and the game won’t progress
I’m assuming that it will be bundled with the wii motion-plus then
– no one from the first game returns
Then why call it Red Steel 2?
– story development came last, gameplay was first
Lets hope that the story wasn’t thrown in at the last second and has some substance to it
– 30% linear, 70% free-roaming within massive levels
Bigger is not necessarily better
– choose the missions you want
Likes and dislikes about that
– 6 enemies maximum at once
Then I hope they have some above average AI
– as of right now, the game has 10+ hours of content
Well, I beat Metroid Prime 3 in 10 hours, so there is a strong chance that this will boil down to 5-6 hours
Not trying to be a dick, just throwing out my opinion about some of this.

Starfan I think you had some very valid points. And what’s the point of a forum if you aren’t going to throw out your opinions. So, I say thank you! And here’s one of my own :)
– Setting: eastern influences mixed with wild-west america set in the near-future
I hope they don’t think they were being wildly creative when they came up with the setting because Firefly* definitely came up with that one first.
*Firefly is an amazing serious that only lasted 1 season, but later on became the movie Serenity.
