I was not very surprised but still disappointed when I heard the statement Capcom had no plans to bring their famous Monster Hunter franchises outside of Japan. Now about a week later Capcom has given us a little hope to hold on too. Capcom’s Christian Svensson commented on the Capcom message boards concerning the localization of Monster Hunter “Noted guys. Stay tuned.”

Also on a separate thread concerning the announcement of these two games Scensson left this message.

“Soon is a relative term but I would say that Western MH fans have lots to be excited about for the future. Admittedly I do hope we can find a way to get P3 HD Westward somehow sooner than those other things but as I’ve mentioned, it’s an open item.”
