@J Money Yeah, I can’t wait for this game. I’ve got a Logitech G25 racing wheel for my PC so hoping it’ll be compatible with the Wii U. It’s got usb ports and hopefully the devs are smart and include compatibility with it.
@sharpjustin @J Money I have actually tried different racing wheels and never really liked them at all. I have never found one that really seems responsive enough. The only racing wheel I have used and liked is the Wii Wheel in combination with the Wii Remote and even then I only like it when I am racing in Mario Kart. I tried using the Wii Wheel with the NFS games (I am a HUGE NFS fan) on the Wii. Not only did I find it difficult to play with the Wii Wheel but I also found that the NFS games ont he Wii were pretty much garbage, in my honest opinion. I really hope that EA is planning on bringing the new NFS: Most Wanted to the Wii U because it looks like it is going to be fantastic!
@J Money Yeah, most wheels are pretty bogus for consoles. The G25 and G27 and really nice wheels (~$200) and have full 6-speed shifter, and gas/brake/clutch pedals. It’s overkill for most arcade racers but for games like Project CARS and NFS Shift/Shift2 it’s amazing. I’m really hoping for Most Wanted on the Wii U too! Hoping that’s a surprise announcement at the Sep. 13 Wii U event.
@WII_UNITD Nintendo has confirmed that any existing Wii accessories can be used on the Wii U. Nintendo has not confirmed compatibility with USB racing wheels yet nor has any one company shown one off for the Wii U. This doesn’t mean that it won’t happen, it just means nobody has confirmed that USB racing wheels will be supported.
