Another quick post from the road. Reggie announced during a Q&A session today that users will be able to plug in a USB device to expand storage.

“You can plug in a full-on three terabyte hard drive if you want. I’ll love you as a digital consumer” – Reggie.

Reggie went on to explain the reason for this is the dramatically falling prices in storage. Nintendo did not want to factor storage cost into the ultimate cost of the machine.
