Monster Hunter Tri Online Servers Will Be Shut Down In April
Fans of Monster Hunter Tri should go online and get their fill of monster hunting in before Capcom shuts down the servers! Capcom has announced that six weeks after the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Wii U, the servers for the previous game for the Wii , Monster Hunter Tri, will be shut down. April 30 is the day Capcom will be cutting off access to the servers for Tri.
“As we usher in the exciting new Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate games, we unfortunately will be transitioning off the Monster Hunter Tri servers for Wii,” Capcom said.
“With the new title, there will be a new place for all of you to gather and hunt online with each other, and we hope you will continue to play together on Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.”
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is shaping up to be a great follow up to the Wii version of the game. Let us know in the comments below if you will be picking up Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate when it releases! I agree with you DallasD many people cannot just go out and buy it simply because a new game came out. We fell in love with Monster Hunter because of wii and Tri, so its very disappointing that the people are too money hungry to keep all of the faithful gamers happily playing. Good grief this game just came out and the wiiu itself isnt that old of a system. Give people some time to upgrade instead of just acting like the fans of one of wiis best games do not matter. Sad and disappointed, a single mom who loves to play with her boys so much that we have 2 wiis to play together.
