Brownie Brown, a subsidiary of Nintendo Co. Ltd., is restarting as 1-UP Studio, Inc.  Brownie Brown has co-developed many Nintendo handheld games such as Professor Layton and the Last Specter and Super Mario 3D Land.  The company is now undergoing a complete restructuring to better focus on the titles they are developing in their partnership with Nintendo.  The Brownie Brown website will be shutting down on March 31st of this year due to the restructuring.  1-UP Studio, Inc. states that they will be drawing off of past development experience to turn a new leaf going into the future.
