Ubisoft Exec Welcomes Wii U Price Cut
In an interview with Edge, Alain Corre, Ubisoft executive director for EMEA territories, was asked if he would welcome a Wii U Price cut.
“Always want the hardware to be at a low price because we want as many fans as possible to afford to buy our games, so that’s for sure.” Corre continues on, “If less machines sell, less games sell”.
Despite relatively low sales, Corre is still optimistic about the Wii U.
“We think that the Wii U will find its audience at some point.”
Corre also reassures that Ubisoft will continue to support the Wii U. “It’s part of Ubisoft DNA to be first on new technology and innovate – and to create games that have created some good momentum that we can use for the future.”
Upcoming games for the Wii U from Ubisoft include Rayman Legends and Watch Dogs.
