This was taken from an email.  That one of Gonintendo’s readers sent to Nintendo concerning the possibility of a Brawl Demo. This was Nintendo’s response:

At this time, we don’t have any plans to offer a game demo of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Typically, game demos are released to familiarize players with a game they hadn’t heard of and encourage them to buy it. I think you’ll agree that’s really not the case with Super Smash Bros. Brawl!
