Game publisher Ripstone had two games recently featured in a sizzle reel during a Nintendo Direct earlier this month.  The sizzle reel featured many indie games due to release on the Wii U and Ripstone had two games, Pure Chess and Knytt Underground, featured in the short clip.

Pure Chess is obviously a chess game but Voofoo Studios Ltd., the developer of Pure Chess, has added cross-platform play so Wii U players will be able to play against others using the 3DS, tablet, and smartphone versions.

Knytt Underground is a platformer from the ‘critically acclaimed Knytt series’ created by Nicklas Nygren, founder of Nifflas Games.
