A surprise Pokémon announcement, which was unveiled yesterday, wasn’t what everyone was expecting but provides a great opportunity for Pokémon fans to win some great prizes!  The announced Pokémon contest, called the Gotta Catch ‘Em All Hunt, is a scavenger hunt that takes place online.

For the Gotta Catch ‘Em All Hunt Pokémon fans will have until October 12th to scour the internet using the clues provided on the Gotta Catch ‘Em All Hunt website to find codes that unlock Pokéballs.  When a Pokéball is unlocked a Pokémon is released and fans will instantly win a digital prize but that is not all.  Unlocking Pokéballs also enters players into a weekly drawing for some really great prizes!

For the weekly drawings Nintendo will be giving away a 3DS, Pokemon Trading Card & Figure Boxes, Black 2/White 2 Official National Pokédex & Guides, Pokémon Plush Toys, Pokémon X 3DS Game Download Codes, and Pokémon Y 3DS Game Download Codes.  Pokémon fans can only win these prizes if they participate in the Gotta Catch ‘Em All Hunt, so get out there and start hunting for those codes!
