This morning’s Nintendo Direct brought new information about the Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter software for the 3DS and 2DS. The Pokemon Bank allows storage of 3000 Pokemon. This bank is only compatible with Pokemon X and Y.  But this doesn’t mean Nintendo has left Pokemon Black and White out of the loop.  The Poke Transporter will allow players to transfer Pokemon from Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 into Pokemon X and Y.  Both of these applications will be released on December 27, 2013.  Players can also try out a 30-day free-trial version that will be available between the launch date and January 31st, 2014.  As a special bonus, players who access the Pokemon Bank before September 30, 2014 will receive the Pokemon, Celebi, as a gift.
