Cubemen 2, a 3D tower defense-like game that mixes in a good dose of real-time strategy, is heading to the Wii U in the US, Europe and Australia this September.

Touted as a fast-paced, action-packed, 3D strategy game, Cubemen 2 sees you controlling an army of little Cubemen units to attack and defend against enemies in a range of game modes.

Players can make and share their own levels using a deep but simple-to-use level editor, allowing you to play online against other players around the world – and on any system. That’s right, Wii U players will be able to enter online matches and create and share levels with other players who own the game on Wii U, PC, Linux, Mac or iOS device.

The game is set to come to the Wii U eShop on September 4, selling for US$7.99 / €7.99 / £6.99 / AUD$10.49.
