Nintendo Has The Population Whipped?

Amazon recently replenished their stock of Wii on their site. But, as usuall the Wii’s were gone within ten minuets of being posted, which leads me to ask this: Why can’t Nintendo meet the supply? Also i was at the near EBGAMES today and i asked for my controler, before me were 18 people ahead! Thats eighteen people who are also waiting for wii controllers on a list!!! Twleve were waiting in for nunchuks! Is the Wii some sort of Nintendo Crack or something?
