April Fools: Frostbite Takes Some Low Blows To Nintendo Wii U
As reported by Kotaku, Frostbite made some pretty awful April Fools jokes at Nintendo’s Wii U. Frostbite, EA’s exclusive game engine, took to Twitter and really laid it down. Many Wii U owners and Nintendo fans already know that the Wii U doesn’t stand up to the PS4 and Xbox One as far as tech specs. But Nintendo gamers also recognize that Nintendo wasn’t trying to out gun Sony and Microsoft with over the top specs. The Wii U provides a unique experience and that is what Nintendo was aiming for. Now for the low blows, below are the tweets that Frostbite sent out on their Twitter account, which have since been taken down.
Frostbite now runs on the #WiiU since it is the most powerful Gen4 platform, our renderer is now optimized for Mario and Zelda.
