Atlus has announced a full remake of Radiant Historia for the 3DS.
Originally released for the DS in 2010 in Japan, the remake will be titled Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, and will feature updated visuals, new cutscenes, a full voice cast, and an additional scenario to play out.
Famitsu spoke to Radiant Historia director Mitsuru Hirano, asking why they chose to remake this slightly obscure game:
Thanks to everyone’s longstanding support, the desire to release this title has risen even within Atlus. Since providing a unique world is essential in an RPG, we kept in mind not to change that impression. Instead, we reviewed the playability and improved it overall.
Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is due to hit Japanese shores on 29 June 2017, with no Western release date announced just yet. In the meantime, you can check out the Japanese trailer below.
