About Trevor Gould

Even though I was first introduced to video games with the Atari 2600 (I feel old) it was Nintendo that turned me into a lifelong fan. From the magical NES era when Nintendo was the face of gaming, through today with the 3DS, Switch (and everything in between) Nintendo’s always entertained me with their innovative, and just plain fun games! Writing for Pure Nintendo has allowed me to combine a fondness for journalism with my love of gaming. I’ve especially enjoyed building working relationships with smaller and independent developers and studios.

Review: PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC (Nintendo Switch)

PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC brings its own brand of old-school 3D platforming to the Nintendo Switch. It’s time to adventure like it’s 1999.

To start this review, I’ll note that my …

Review: Like No Other: The Legend Of The Twin Books (Nintendo Switch)

A high-quality point-and-click graphic adventure as a rule, Like No Other: The Legend Of The Twin Books also represents a subpar value. This 90-minute game (with some issues) is priced …

Hit-Point is back with another RPG, Gale of Windoria. Despite what the clickbait headline on another Nintendo site said, there is nothing Zelda-inspired about this. It’s a traditional RPG, the …
