One of the many, many indie games that we reported as coming to the eShop this year is Ballpoint Universe. Developed by Arachnid Games and funded via Kickstarter, this title was originally released on Steam, Desura and the App Store, and is now making its way to the North American Wii U eShop on March 18, 2014.

What sets this game apart is that it was entirely hand-drawn on paper with a ballpoint pen. The trailer below shows off these unique visuals, and some pretty interesting-looking gameplay too, particularly about halfway through when it switches from a platformer to an arcade shooter.
