Cliffy B: Nintendo never asked me to make games
Cliffy B is a huge Nintendo fan. In fact, I have run into him (literally) a few times at Nintendo’s E3 booth. Knowing that, one might wonder why he never took the step onto a Nintendo platform?
In a recent interview with Engadget, Cliffy B gave a simple answer to this question.
They never called. Plain and simple.
Because I have actually run straight into Cliffy B, (sorry about that) I will give him a little break here. As of 2012, Cliffy B. left Epic after 20 years of work. Where, I am sure a lot of you know, he spent a large part of his time doing something called Mears of Lars…or something that rhymes with that. (Gears of War)

Does anyone else call BS on that?

I don’t believe that Nintendo should have to ‘call’ developers to get them to make a game for the Wii U or any other Nintendo console. Developers are really going to do what they want to do anyways. If developers don’t want to make a game for the Wii U or 3DS, more power to them but in my opinion it is just money left on the table.
