Copperhead Revealed for Arkham Origins
“Strange. These reports reference a male, not a female.” This phrase, uttered in this Comic-Con reveal trailer, introduces a new female version of Copperhead, the incredibly agile, snake-like assassin who’s after Batman in Arkham Origins.
Batman: Arkham Origins follows Batman during a fateful Christmas Eve with a bounty on his head. This bounty attracts some of Gotham’s deadliest assassins. Deathstroke was the first revealed assassin, and now we see that Copperhead will be joining the rogue’s gallery of the game. Watch her escape a pair of handcuffs and sneak around the room, attacking Batman with some creepy, slithery attacks. I have really liked the two revealed assassins for the game. I think it’ll be really cool to have the game focus on these very physical martial artists as villains.
The game will release on October 25 for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, PS Vita, and 3DS.

I didn’t realize until just now that Rocksteady’s departure on this title implies that they’re taking extra time to work on the next Batman game for Xbox One/PS4. I hope that’s the case.
I’m okay with this version of Copperhead. The only one I’m familiar with is the animated Justice League version, and he was not to be taken seriously.
