Hey everyone, I hope you’re having a great Sunday!  Just thought you guys might be interested in this de Blob contest.  On the official de Blob website, there is a de Blob coloring/painting widget as well as a contest to test your blobbing skills.  All you have to do is follow the link below, and paint a cool drawing to send in to THQ.  You’ll be entered in a contest to win a custom de Blob Wii system and a copy of the game!

De Blob Contest Rules:

Tap into your artistic side to win some cool prizes. In honor of the launch of “de Blob,” a game all about color and creativity, THQ has created a widget http://www.deblob.com/#widget where anyone can create their own masterpiece. The most unique and artistic designs will win prizes.

How to Enter. To enter, visit www.deblob.com use the widget drawing tool to complete your drawing. Once you have completed your drawing, click on the “Contest Submission” button and complete all information requested in the entry form and click submit. Your drawing will automatically be entered with the submission of your entry form. Only complete entries (with all the information as requested) will be accepted as a submission. Entries will be accepted between 12:01 AM (PST) on September 17, 2008 and 11:59 PM (PST) on October 24, 2008 (the “Contest Period”). No other methods of entry will be accepted. Only one entry per email address will be accepted. Sponsors have the sole discretion to determine the valid and official entry time should any discrepancies of time occur.

Prizes.

The following prizes will be awarded:

  • 3 Grand-Prize Winners will receive one custom skinned “de Blob” Wii videogame system and one copy of the “de Blob” video game for the Wii
  • 5 First-Prize Winners will each receive one copy of the “de Blob” videogame for the Wii
