When Nintendo announced yesterday that they will be re-releasing Pikmin on the Wii. Many fans were left wondering were is Pikmin 3. Nintendo has answered your question.

“It’s not the Pikmin that Mr. Miyamoto referred to, no,” said Nintendo of America sales VP Cammie Dunaway. “Mr. Miyamoto referred to a new Pikmin, as opposed to the classics that are being rereleased on Wii.”
