I think that this is a great article and a great topic of discussion for this holiday weekend. Miyamoto and the rest of Nintendo have stayed strong with saying that we shouldn’t think of Link as Link but as us. That’s one reason for the lack of voice, and personality, for our little green hero. Nintendo believes if they give Link a voice and a personality, it would take away our feeling of being the Hero of Time.
