Dragon Quest X heading to 3DS in Japan
We reported a few months ago that Square Enix was considering bringing Dragon Quest X to the West, but it seems that for the moment they are sticking within the Japanese market, introducing a 3DS version of the game in the region.
Due to launch September 4, the handheld version will cost ¥3800 (plus tax), providing players with 60 days subscription to the MMORPG, as well as a poster and other in-game goodies.
The screen shots below give an idea f how the game will look on the 3DS, and it is the complete game, as already available on Wii, Wii U and PC, allowing a seamless playing experience across platforms.

Let’s hope Sqenix is going to follow Capcom’s lead with Munster Hunter 4; that is not bring the initial release to the west, but then bring out the enhanced “Ultimate” version later! /fingers crossed
