DS Lite > Fastest Selling System (in Japan)

DS/DS Lite have broken the sales record in Japan. The phenomenon that is DS has taken Japan by storm and put up record numbers since it’s launch in late 2004. The system has sold well over 10 million units in just 20 months.

With popular titles like Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, and New! Super Mario Bros.–Nintendo is taking advantage of the unique handheld’s success. And with even more highly anticipated titles in the pipeline such as: Final Fantasy III, Starfox Command, and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass; Nintendo is planning on continuing its ride at the top.
