Nintendo showcased many upcoming games during their E3 2015 Digital Event, however there was one game that was mysteriously absent from the big event, only to crop up quietly on Nintendo’s YouTube channel instead.
Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, which was released in Japan in 2014, is heading to the Wii U in the US and Europe this Fall. This news coincides with a haunting new trailer, showcasing the scary mood of the game which sees players using the Wii U GamePad as a camera, snapping photos of ghosts and keeping them at bay – creepy.
We’re not sure why this game wasn’t mentioned during the Digital Event, but we’re glad to hear it has made progress nonetheless.

Having missed the first three, I WILL not be missing this one! I was kind of surprised to not hear this mentioned during my own transcription of the Direct Event, but hey, glad I know about it now!
Thanks for posting up the trailer! #Salute

I plan on playing the first three here soon, but tracking them down has become a chore, and one I’m starting to not be able to afford! :-/
Time for some reparations! :-)
