Disney animators are one of the best in the bizz. Which is why Disney has been doing great things for many, many years. Something neat about Mickey that you may not know about, I sure didn’t, is the fact that no matter what Mickey’s ears are always facing a on directions. Its seems like Warren Spector and his team noticed and added this into their game.

“We did some tests with Mickey without ears that were facing the camera and it just didn’t hold up, so we decided to go with the facing ears. We had some really smart programmers write code that would always make sure that, no matter which way Mickey was facing, you would have ears that not only faced the camera correctly but also oriented correctly on his head.” – John Ford, animator at Junction Point
