Etrian Odyssey 2 Coming to 3DS
A remake of dungeon-crawling RPG Etrian Odyssey 2: Heroes of Lagaard is on its way to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan, according to Famitsu. Developed by Atlus and originally released on the DS in 2008, the remake will be named Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Knight of the Fafnir.
As the second game in the series, Etrian Odyssey 2 is also the second to be remade for the 3DS, with the first game Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl releasing last year. Like that remake, The Knight of the Fafnir will introduce animated story scenes and new characters to the enhanced version.
Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Knight of the Fafnir is expected to launch in Japan this winter. There is no word yet on a North American release date, so stay tuned for further news on that front.
