23rd July 2012 – With Nintendo 3DS XL launching across Europe on 28th July, make sure you check out Planet Crashers, an entertaining action-adventure RPG, available from the Nintendo eShop. After graduating from the Planet Crashers Academy you have been given your first assignment where you must prevent an unknown evil from snuffing out the sun.
Planet Crashers will take you on an epic 3D adventure where you can explore the extensive universe, battle in dungeons to advance to nearby planets, and also fully customise your own character so that no two heroes are the same. Also coming to Nintendo 3DS is the classic Game Boy™ title Kirby’s Pinball Land where you must help Kirby to defeat King Dedede!
Shine your way through over 100 vibrant levels in Candle Route, collecting matches to light candles whilst dodging any obstacles in your path, and Sharpen up your athletic abilities in Decathlon 2012, both on Nintendo DSiWare. Save the Planet Zethos in Horizon Riders, available on Wii, after it falls under the military control of Thau-Phi, a rogue Artificial Intelligence, by destroying the renegade cybernetic army.
Available to download for the very first time from the Nintendo eShop on Saturday is the specially edited 3D clip from Atlantic Productions’ groundbreaking Sky series Kingdom of Plants 3D, exclusive to Nintendo 3DS / 3DS XL.
Also available this week from the Nintendo eShop is the second clip in the series of The Incredible Barbazan, produced by Blackbox Productions and distributed by Living Colour Ent. Check out the magical The Incredible Barbazan: The Human Cannonball 2 featuring Barbazan the world’s most untalented magician and his trusty penguin assistant Fritz, performing tricks that go wrong in hilarious ways, all in stereoscopic 3D.
Available this week via Nintendo Video is a compilation displaying some of the best winning photos from the Nintendo 3DS 3D Photo Contest which took place across Europe from April to June 2012. We received 138,069 photos from 22,423 registered users across 6 different categories and we wanted to showcase the very best of the best from the 19 participating European countries.
Also available again this week exclusively to Nintendo 3DS is the second instalment of the ground breaking short animated film, Big Buck Bunny in 3D, from the award-winning Blender Foundation. The film follows the adventures of the lovable rabbit as he seeks revenge on a trio of mischievous woodland creatures who have disrupted his peaceful daily routine, all in colourful 3D. If you didn’t catch it the first time round then be sure not to miss out again!
