30th July 2012 – Kung Fu fans are in for a treat this week, as Johnny Kung Fu™ launches on the Nintendo eShop. Johnny is a pretty ordinary guy and nothing matters more to him than his girlfriend Paula. So when she’s captured by the wicked Mr Wang Gang, Johnny must learn the ancient skills of Kung Fu in order to rescue her. Johnny must bravely face the ambush he knows is waiting for him at the Mr Wang Gang hideout towers. It’s down to you to help Johnny save the day – and rescue his girl!

Also coming to the Nintendo eShop is the Game Boy™ Color classic. Toki Tori, available on Virtual Console for Nintendo 3DS. In this challenging puzzle platformer, a heroic small, yellow chicken named Toki Tori must rescue all his kidnapped brothers and sisters who are still in their fragile eggs. But it’s time to get cracking. You must keep him safe, avoiding traps and wicked foes, while trying to collect all the eggs in each level before the time rounds out.

It’s also a great week for educational gaming with the creative maths title Ace Mathician and the challenging language game 3, 2, 1… WordsUp! both coming on Nintendo DSiWare this week. Alternatively Wii fans can return to the “Bakumatsu” period of Japanese history for the fast-paced fighting game, THE LAST BLADE, available on the Wii Shop Channel.

Also available this week from the Nintendo eShop is the fourth clip in the series of The Incredible Barbazan, produced by Blackbox Productions and distributed by Living Colour Ent. In The Incredible Barbazan: The Knife Thrower, you can watch the world’s worst magician trying his luck at knife throwing.

Available again this week via Nintendo Video is a compilation displaying some of the best winning photos from the Nintendo 3DS 3D Photo Contest which took place across Europe from April to June 2012. We received 138,069 photos from 22,423 registered users across 6 different categories and we wanted to showcase the very best of the best from the 19 participating European countries.

Also available again this week exclusively to Nintendo 3DS is the third instalment of the ground breaking short animated film, Big Buck Bunny in 3D, from the award-winning Blender Foundation. The film follows the adventures of the lovable rabbit as he seeks revenge on a trio of mischievous woodland creatures who have disrupted his peaceful daily routine, all in colourful 3D. If you didn’t catch it the first time round then be sure not to miss out again!
