18th June 2012 – Attempt the impossible and bridge dimensions with the heroic sprite Max asMutant Mudds™ makes its welcome European debut on Nintendo 3DS. As Max you’ll be able to leap between the background and foreground of the screen, weaving between 2D and 3D as you do so using your trusty orange launch pad. But beware, there are Max’s long-term nemeses – the Mutant Mudds – to contend with. It’s up to you to blast your way across the levels in an attempt to seek out the Water Spirits which, once collected, will wash the Mutant Mudds away for good!
Not getting enough football at the moment? Then get your hands on the table-top style football game Goooooal Europa 2012, on Nintendo DSiWare. You can play in single matches, tournaments featuring 20 objectives, and even replace the football with a time bomb and send your opponent’s players to the bench!
If you would prefer to go on a bit of an adventure then give Save the Furries a go, available via the Wii Shop Channel. In order to protect the Furries from being eaten alive by the evil Furax, you will need to venture across 60 levels in outer space and use the Wii Remote to rearrange objects to help fashion a safe route to the exit.
Available this week via Nintendo Video are two 3D trailers for the upcoming films The Amazing Spider Man and Ice Age 4 – Continental Drift. The upcoming film The Amazing Spider Man is based around Peter Parker’s journey to find out why his parents disappeared when he was young, after finding an important clue. And in Ice Age 4 – Continental Drift, the usual suspects; Manny, Diego and Sid, embark on yet another epic adventure after their continent is set adrift.Making a return to Nintendo Video this week is the first part in the series of previously released Kid Icarus 3D Anime clips titled Thanatos Rising Part One.
