Nintendo has announced the subject of debate for the next Splatfest on the Wii U’s favorite inky shooter, Splatoon. The sad news? This is purportedly the final Splatfest event. Ever.

The event, which will be a global Splatfest, will answer once and for all, who is the most popular Squid Sister? Choose your allegiance by fighting for Team Callie or Team Marie.

The showdown begins at 2 AM PT on Friday, 22 July and runs right up until 2 AM PT on Sunday, 24 July. Players in Japan will be matched with others in Japan, with players in North America and Europe matched up with each other. The top 100 players will be tallied and announced separately for each region though the results will be collected from all regions and announced at he same time.
