With Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright and Conquest both containing unique stories from each warring faction’s side, you may be tempted to buy both games in order to experience the full story when the game comes out on February 19th, 2016. Thanks to the latest Nintendo direct, we now know that you have some options when it comes to purchasing the game.
At the suggested retail price of $39.99, if you purchase one version of the game at either a retail outlet store or on the eShop, you’ll be able to purchase the second title at the reduced price of $19.99 via an in-game purchase. Nintendo has also announced on their direct that a 3rd version of the game, Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation will be made available for purchase at a later date. This version is meant to be played after the first two, as it will offer even more of a challenge and a more in-depth story.
For those wanting all three games, Nintendo will also make available a special edition that will include all three games, an art book, and a 3DS XL carrying pouch for $79.99.
