With Super Smash Bros. For 3DS due for release in Japan in little over a month, Nintendo has released the first of presumably many trailers.

The commercial is a very short and sharp affair, getting quickly to the point by gathering characters through brief scenes to gather them with a glimpse of some gameplay action on the 3DS screen.

Super Smash Bros. For 3DS will launch in Japan on September 13, followed shortly by Western releases on October 3 in Europe and North America. Australia will follow with an October 4 release.

Super Smash Bros. For Wii U is still scheduled for a holiday 2014 launch but in the meantime, check out the trailer above and let us know your comments.
