Gamer Dad: Part 3 – Top five YouTube distractions
Those with children understand the struggle of keeping them entertained. When its daddy and son alone time I don’t like to call what I’m doing just “Watching. ” According to dictionary.com the term too Watch/Watching means “To look or observe attentively or carefully; be closely observant.” A loose explanation of this term would have me staring at my child from across the room. That’s why I consider what I’m doing to be a child entertainer.
The key to successfully child entertaining, for daddy and child, is to find something you both enjoy. That is why I turned to Youtube to find some type of video or song that we both don’t’ mind listening too, over, and over, and over again. Below is the list of the top five baby and daddy videos that both my son and I enjoy. (Note: Some of these are not Nintendo or even video game related. I listen to what i have to listen)
Check out Part 1 and Part 2 of Gamer Dad.
#5 Halo Theme- Lindsey Stirling and William Joseph
#4 LMFAO – Party Rock Anthem ft. Lauren Bennett, GoonRock
Note: I’m not sure if he likes the song itself or my awesome shufflin.

Hey, thanks for posting links to the second Gamer Dad, I missed that post. I really like these because being a dad myself and trying to balance everything I understand all that you are going through.

So funny! I think everyone can relate. As an infant, certain songs struck a chord with my bub, for example Adelle ‘s Someone Like You – guess that song was just soothing to a baby, and we watched it on YouTube alot. The beauty of YouTube – as you say – is that it entertains everyone. And now he’s a little older and watches Nintendo videos with me too :)
