Leading video game publishers from the Netherlands to announce roll-out plan for upcoming games

Game Entertainment Europe (GEE) and Games Factory Online (GFO) would be organizing a press conference where there will be release announcements of 3 triple-A games for various platforms.

Date and location: Thursday 21st August 2008 at 13:00 hours in Press Conference Room III, at the Games Convention in Leipzig, German

Highlights:

1. GEE will present Hovorun (PC), its official launch date for Europe and the roll-out plan for this first free-to-play online casual race game on the European market. The game originates from Korea. This game genre has already been very successful in Asia and the US and will now be introduced for the first time in Europe.

2. Both GEE and GFO will announce their joint co-operation for the MMO version of Stratego (online PC), one of the most popular strategy board games ever.

3. GFO will announce the publisher of Rummikub (Nintendo DS), one of the most successful tile games which is soon available for the Nintendo DS.

Additionally, GFO will announce the names and roll-out plans for a number of serious games for education and training purposes. These games will be used to train project management and teach languages.

Media attending the press conference will receive all materials presented, including digital images and trailers.

Media can also join GEE and GFO for drinks on Thursday 21st August 2008 at 16:00 hrs at GEE and GFO booth in Hall 2 – E41, and test and play all the games introduced at the press conference.
