Ok, now it is time to make that announcement that I have been teasing for the last two weeks. I will explain later why there was a delay for it.

This past Monday marked a day in Pure Nintendo history that has never happened before. That day, is the first time we had a full-time dedicated person to the site…and that full-time person is…me. For here on out I will be 100% dedicated to Pure Nintendo and our readers. No school or work can get in my way of doing my job here, but family can. Now for the reason for the delay of this announcement and the slow posting on Pure Nintendo over the last 3 days. My Brother had surgery on his right foot last week and is now on crutches. His job requires him to drive around most of the day. So for the past 3 days I have been doing his driving for him. I will probably be doing the same thing for the last 3 days of next week, but after that I am all Pure Nintendo’s.

What does this change mean for our readers? Nothing very new just the fact the site will be that much more awesome. Here is what you can expect.

  • Faster Up-to-date news- I will never be very far away from my computer. News will get to you faster and timelier throughout the day.
  • More unique content – As you may have already noticed this week. My newly found position gives me more time to focus on original content like articles and other things.
  • Reviews will get to you faster – The average time I sit on a review after receiving it is about a week and a half. Now I am planning on giving myself a 3-day turn around on reviews that will make it timelier.
  • The site will be over all more awesome.

Because I am dedicating my life to Pure Nintendo you may start to notice more and more ads pop up on the site.  Justin and I want to make it clear we are trying out hardest to make the ads the least obstructive as we can.  We want the site to retain its clean looks. There will hopefully not be any annoying pop-up ads; if one of those slips in we will quickly get it off.
