First I would like to wish everyone in the States a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Stay safe and try not to blow you fingers off.

There are a lot of people mad about the lack of localization of The Last Story, Pandora’s Tower and Xenoblade, to the United States. Nintendo did not help the cause by teasing an announcement that ended up being false hope. I am indifferent about the localization of these games. I would play them if they came but it is not earth shattering if Nintendo truly decides not too. The problem I have with this week is Nintendo teasing on their Facebook page about making an announcement concerning these games localization. Many people believed, including myself, that Nintendo would at least release one of these games in NA. As many of you know, Nintendo announced 3 days later that they have no plans to release these games in NA. Why mention anything about the movement to bring these games to NA if they were not planning on releasing them? In my mind if Nintendo had no plans to release the games in NA they should have kept away mentioning it at all. The biggest backlash I have seen from this whole week is just what I stated. Many people are mad Nintendo teased a non-announcement.

Since North America was the first to receive the Wii. North America has slowly been going down the path of being the stepchild. Only getting things if the parents (Nintendo) want to give it to them. So what could Nintendo do to make it up to NA? I have one solution that could make people happy…Release The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword in NA first. Give all the fans in NA a week or two head start on the game to appease the hearts of many that are broken. Doing this will make the step child feel loved and forget about the other three games. What could Nintendo do to make it up too you?
