IGN N-Query Details
IGN has some cool new info in their N-Query from yesterday. The Bigs baseball game is mentioned as well as Mario Strikers Charged, Battalion Wars 2, and Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. Here are some of the highlights:
I’ll know a lot more about Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition come Friday’s update to the mailbag section, but from what I can tell, no, the graphics will not be updated. The game is merely getting true 16:9 widescreen support – not that faked stuff in the GameCube version. It’d be nice if it ran at 60 frames now, too, but I’ll let you know on that one in a couple days.

You said a while ago in your blogs that there was a game coming out that us on the boards would go crazy for and you would let us know as soon as its unveiled. Was the title Mario and Sonic at the olympic games or are there other titles which are yet to be announced that are gonna send us reeling.
NiGHTS and Mario and Sonic at the Olympics were two of the games in question, yes. However, there are a few more and one in particular has the potential to be bigger. It all depends on how the company approaches the title. If it goes ground-up and really maximizes on Wii’s capabilities, it could be huge. There are additionally a couple of other games that appeal to the hardcore crowd and are designed specifically for Wii, but I don’t think I can even give you a hint. I’ll ask if I can slip something out there in a Hot or Not topic in the coming weeks. Maybe.

I’m hoping one of those ‘games that appeal to the hardcore crowd’ is Metroid Prime 3. Please, please, Nintendo, release more Metroid Prime 3 info!!
Be SURE to read all the N-Query. They talk about the possibility of the Virtual Console coming to handhelds (that would absolutely be AWESOME!)
