Indie game JetGetters Could Hit Wii U through Kickstarter Stretch Goal
A new type of multiplayer shooter titled JetGetters is looking for funding through Kickstarter. This promising-looking title is all about teams of players who fly high in the sky and hijack each other’s vehicles in midair, and the great news is that developers Tiny Build Games have added a Wii U stretch goal to their campaign.
The basic concept of the game revolves around jumping out of jets, and landing on other jets. Sound simple? Well here’s the fun part: at any time you can leap from your jet and basically just free-fall until another jet comes close. You can grapple onto other jets and eject the current owner, and your allies can be called to your aid if there are no jets nearby. You can even surf on the back of a friendly jet and continue to attack enemies with your hand gun, or repair the jet in question. You can also hijack other airborne objects, like missiles – and steer them towards your foes.
You can see a great video of the gameplay in action on Tiny Build Games’ Kickstarter page, and let us know your thoughts in the comments below. Is this something you would support?
