Japan may have them for now, but I extremely suggest that Nintendo sells AR Card packs for about $6 each. There would be 10 cards in each pack, and they could sell game packs, so you could get a collection of your favorite Mario characters, or Pokemon monsters. That would actually put my birthday money in my wallet to use!
