The latest sales data from Japan is in, and it was another big week for gaming, with the latest version of mega-popular Yokai Watch 2 hitting stores and selling over 1.2 million units.

The top twenty is made up of ten 3DS titles, with Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire coming in at number two, and Super Smash Bros for 3DS at number four.

The Wii U is continuing its decent sales streak, with three titles in the top twenty. Super Smash Bros. comes in at number three to move another 80,000 units, and the ever-present Mario Kart 8 moves another 25,000 to come in at number nine. Captain Toad stands strong at number thirteen with over 14,000 units.

In hardware, most platforms saw an increase in sales this week, chiefly the New 3DS and its LL partner, combining to sell well over 100,000 units. The Wii U moved over 27,000 units, similar to last week’s 24,000, a considerable two-week spike when you look at the past few months, when sales hovered around the 8000 mark each week.
