The latest sales data from Japan is in, and this week we see a dramatic drop in sales across the board, particularly in hardware.

The 3DS is still the number one selling device, despite selling less than half as many units as the previous week. Wii U sales also dropped dramatically from 30,000 to 10,000 to come in at fifth place again.

In software, little has change in terms of the top twenty, despite lower numbers, with the 3DS again selling more titles than other platforms, including the top four best-sellers: Yokai Watch 2, Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, Super Smash Bros., and Monster Hunter 4.

The Wii U is only represented by two titles this week, with Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8 coming into the top ten at five and nine, respectively. Captain Toad has dipped out of the top twenty this week.
