This week’s sales data from Japan has been released, and it’s a very interesting week. Yokai Watch 2 retains it’s number one position for the sixth week in a row, outpacing newcomer Hyrule Warrios. The Wii U’s newest entry comes in at a respectable number two position, moving almost 70,000 units. It’s not as high as Mario Kart 8’s 325,000 debut last May, but still helped move a number of Wii U’s, with hardware sales picking up from last week’s 13,000 to over 18,000 this week.

In other hardware news, the 3DS also saw a nice increase of about 9000 in sales, hitting 42,000 for the week and easily sitting in number one position yet again.
