The latest sales data from Japan is available, showing the top game sales for the region. This is for physical releases, which excludes the eShop.

This week saw newcomer Touken Ranbu Warriors take the top spot, moving 113,159 units to overthrow Pokémon Arceus. Arceus itself sold 84,925 units, surpassing two million total sales since it’s release a few weeks earlier. We can expect to see the 3D action of Touken Ranbu Warriors release digitally in the US on May 24.

There were no other new releases for the Switch. A few other consoles had game launches that toppled mainstayers Mario Kart and Mario Party from their usual positions, rendering them to 5th and 6th positions in the chart respectively.

In hardware, the OLED model was the favorite this week, moving 59,161 units. There were 96,929 untis sold across the Switch family of consoles.
