The latest sales data for Japan is in, and it was another strong Nintendo week in the region, with eight of the top ten games on Nintendo consoles.

This week saw the latest Dragon Quest entry dominate the software charts for the second week in a row, moving another 300,714 copies on the 3DS alone. Capcom’s latest Ace Attorney game debuted this week, selling 69,848 copies to hit fourth position.

Splatoon 2 remained the most popular Switch title, coming in at third position with 74,235 copies. It should hit the one million mark in the next few weeks.

In hardware, sales dropped a little from last week’s highs, with the Switch remaining on top with 61,933 sales. The 2DS continues to dominate its 3DS sibling, with 33,871 sales compared to 22,200, placing them in third and fourth spots, respectively.
