Pokémon Shuffle’s next events have been revealed, arriving over the coming weeks of October.
Firstly, on the 3DS version, players will have the chance to win the Mega Stone for Absol. Starting October 12, top-tier players will be rewarded according to their ranking, with US players in the top 20,000 and Europeans in the top 12,000 receiving the Absolite. Players in the top 27,000 (US) and 17,000 (Europe) will get 2 Attack Power, while all participants will earn themselves a jewel for playing.
On the 3DS and mobile versions of the game, players will see the return of Dialga, starting on October 12 (3DS) and October 19 (mobile). The Palkia stage also starts on both platforms from October 19. These events require version 1.2.19 to play.
Pokémon fans with Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire can also look forward to a Halloween event this October. The Spooky Cup Online Competition will pit the oddest and spookiest Pokémon teams against each other. The long list of included Pokémon can be found on the Official Pokemon website, including Rattata, Zubat, Parasect, Haunter, Gastly, Gengar, Ditto, Sneasel, Sharpedo, Banette, Sableye, Venipede, Gothita, Pumpkaboo, Gourgeist, Meowstic, Espurr and more. Pikachu is also allowed, since it can easily slip into a costume. Pokémon in the competition will be set to Level 50 and the competition will not allow the use of Mega Stones.
Registration for the Spooky Cup Online Competition starts October 15 and the competition begins on October 23.
