Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have announced the latest entry in their long line of LEGO games, with LEGO DC Super-Villains. The game is set to hit the Nintendo Switch, along with other consoles, on October 16 2018.
LEGO DC Super-Villains marks the first LEGO game centered around the bad guys, giving players the ability to create and edit their own super-villain. The story revolves around your character’s involvement in the Legion of Doom, featuring iconic DC characters. When the Justice League goes missing, only to be replaced by a suspicious new “Justice Syndicate”, it’s up to your team of misfits to save Earth
The game promises to be one of the funniest in the series, offering a new way to team up with renowned villains The Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, and more. The mischievous game is sure to provide a light-hearted look at the DC universe.
As you progress, you’ll unlock new abilities and powers as you continue to customize your character. The game also promises epic boss fights, and local co-op gaming for two players.
As with previous LEGO releases, there will be a Deluxe Edition of the game, featuring the main game as well as a Season Pass for DLC. It also comes with early access to the DC Super-Villains: TV Series DLC Character Pack, and is available for pre-order now. As an added incentive, the physical version of the Deluxe Edition comes with an exclusive LEGO minifigure, Lex Luthor Superman. Digital purchases will include the Justice League Dark DLC Character Pack with their Deluxe Edition.
