Earlier this week, a group of friends decided to break Guinness World Records for Video Game Marathons while raising as much money as possible for the charity organization, Child’s Play Charity.

Both the Longest Video Games Marathon Playing Mario (series) and Longest Video Games Marathon Playing Mega Man (series) have been broken with times of 52 hours, 8 minutes and 34 hours, 24 minutes respectively.

They are taking the final day of their event to celebrate their victories and auction off various hand-made gaming crafts, such as a Piranha Plant drinking glass or Super Mushroom baby blanket, for Child’s Play Charity.  The event is livestreaming right now on twitch.tv and will run until 4:30PM EST today, so you better hurry if you want to nab a craft for yourself!
